Forcing refresh rate for all games to 144hz

Strange thing. If I put my game in Windowed mode, and once it sets the refresh rate to 60hz, I can alt tab to change the refresh rate in Windows back to 144hz and it runs at 144hz. Or if I have a game running at 144hz, then alt tab to the one that isn't 144hz, refresh sets to 144hz.

help please over crossfire , sli tech @ GPU

You can't SLI a GTX 960 with a GTX 970. It has to be the same card for SLI. If you want to SLI, add another GTX 960. Note : Make sure you have a suitable power supply quality/output wise.

You could get one of the Noctua variants if silence is preferred. If you intend to do heavy overclocking, go for a dual fan tower heatsink (NH-D14, NH-D15). Otherwise for a modest overclock, you could get a single fan heatsink tower (NH-U12S). There are other options, but Noctua is great for...

PSU for Gtx 960 and i5-4690k

You can use the locked i5 on your H97 motherboard if you'd like. The 4690K would only benefit you if you want to overclock but you'll need an aftermarket cooler.
