Thanks John for your feedback .... i dont think the RAM is an issue as its been in the system for about 3 months with no issues ..... i was wondering if it was the motherboard. Wasn't really planning a full upgrade but i guess thats what your suggesting.

HI All I'm after some help. The PC is an Asus Aspire TC-780 desktop. and was manufactured in 2017 i think. Im looking at upgrading my graphics card to some thing better than the GTX1050 currently fitted and working well. In preparation for a better card i upgraded the power supply to an RM850...
