Hmm this is a tricky situation. It sounds like it might be the power supply to me. How old is your power supply? If you have multiple sticks of RAM, only plug one in and try booting up with each stick of RAM separately. Did you have any power outages? Are you behind a power strip?

What is your apocalypse game plan? My game plan would be to stock up on Guns and Ammo and also a sword and shield. Also I cannot forget about food stocks. This way when the apocalypse comes I am ready. How you would survive the four horseman, a zombie attack, a plague of pestilence and horror...
