    Alienware? No thanks. Although you definitely are paying a superflous price premium, you're at least getting power (the same can't be said for MACs.)

    More cores is good for some people. For me, processors that are good for gaming (generally quad-cores) are for me. Or, maybe games will start being able to utilize 8-12 cores; then I'd get one.

    Build Advice: $1200 Gaming PC

    Do without 8 gigs, put more into your graphics, get a Spinpoint F3, choose a 955 instead of a 965, and invest in a better case. A CM 690 ii, NZXT Hades, or NZXT Phantom would be better.
