The latest AMD Richland A6 should give more than enough power for that. The minimum, and this is real minimum, would be an A4. Hope this helps :)

Depends on your budget. The FX is better and quicker on paper, with twice the cache, however the Xeon uses less power, and can handle the same loads fine. The Xeon is aimed at being a server processor, so I'd go for the Xeon in this scenario. However, the FX will do fine. Hope this helps!

AMD's APU + GPU solutions are pretty good. What size is your case? I'd personally stick to Asus, MSI, Gigabyte or AS Rock. You'll want an AM3+ for FX-xxxx CPUs, and an FM2 for an APU. For £500-600 you could probably get an i5 if you wanted a slightly more attractive spectrum of motherboards...

What cooling is this running? Try running your computer at the normal load you would run at, and check the temperature of the CPU, HDD, and other components. If the processor is running too hot, (sort of 80°+ varying on different processors), you may need better cooling. Also, check to see...
