what does it mean by 'samples' because a gtx titanX has 12 samples, a hd7770 has around 4900 and so does the gtx 660ti, but the 660ti is considerably better, how does the number of samples affect how good a gpu is and how important are they?

Okay with the hd7770 its usually hovering around 80 or so, but using the graph on battlefield, it shows that my gpu is doing hardly anything in comparison to my cpu which is spiking heavily

Thankyou, i took it down to 3.7 and it was absolutely fine and ive upped it to 3.8 atm and so far its fine... it probably was skype tbh, because event viewer only showed that skype died lol,
