I tried uninstalling the USB generic devices in device manager, every single USB on the PC in fact. They all reinstalled fine but didn't solve the problem. Grrr! It won't let me upload to paste bin as the text is larger than 512kb. I will try and find another way to get it to you. Thanks

I don't seem to have a toolbar to the left, there's one to the right though if that's what you mean.

On random occasions the windows button in the bottom left hand side of the screen just stops working and the only way to pull up the start menu is by using the keyboard. Any ideas on this problem?
