Question Any recommended home network switch for 10GB?

Not a lot files, just want to utilize the Internet speed more. Seems like Hasivo is a great deal, not sure how much noise it makes comparing to the TP-Link one. I can't tell the noise in youtube video is that noticeable mentioned by others unless it's a really quiet/sleeping environment when...

Question Any recommended home network switch for 10GB?

Was thinking the TP-Link TL-SX1008 as the price is really good for 8 ports all in 10GB, but hesitated after saw a lot of people complaint about the fan noise. Not sure if there is any other models not break the bank? Preferably 10GB for all ports, 8 or more ports. Thanks.

Discussion A simple introduction to Chinese made SSD(updated with some test)

I read exactly what you stated above. But I don't think you read what I said: IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO BACKUP THE DATA YOU CONSIDER IT IS IMPORTANT. Samsung won't compensate on your data lose if their controller chip fails. I don't know what the price strategy is for Australia, this is...

Discussion A simple introduction to Chinese made SSD(updated with some test)

The point of these brands and their products are bringing more competitions and lowing the price down at other major brands like Samsung, Kingston, so we don't pay overprice like Graphics Card. For any data you think it is important, it is your responsibility to have a backup. For something...

Question Is there any improvement using the 12v HPWR power supply from PSU to a PCIe 4.0 Graphics card?

That's something I am trying to find out if there is any advantage to use that new cable from PSU to Graphics card or just pure simplicity. It says 600W on the cable head, not sure if means more power supply or something else.

Question Is there any improvement using the 12v HPWR power supply from PSU to a PCIe 4.0 Graphics card?

Having the RX7800 XT, which is a PCI e 4.0 graphics card, the power supply port on the card is 2x 8pin. I notice the PSU, thermaltake GF3 1000W has a 12v HPWR port and it comes with the cable. I am wondering if it is worth to use an adapter cable to use the 12v HPWR power supply instead of the...

Question New build, long time to boot and Q-LED has solid orange light

Thanks, will check that, when I take everything off from the motherboard. I thought the LGA1700 CPUs don't have those traditional pins under the processor like the old days, it's more like a touch point to the CPU socket?

Question New build, long time to boot and Q-LED has solid orange light

SSD and PSU are all good. Initially I suspect it's memory, but seems it's not. Then I started playing with different memory slot on the motherboard, and found out it didn't work at specific slot. Just came back from the computer shop, they tried their kingston fury, it works on both A2 and B2...

Question New build, long time to boot and Q-LED has solid orange light

Just found out, the both memory seems good if I only use A1, B1 and B2 slots on motherboard. Regardless which memory installed on A2 slot, it will have the long yellow light on the Q-LED. Could I say this is a hardware issue with the A2 memory slot on the motherboard?

Question New build, long time to boot and Q-LED has solid orange light

Intel i7-13700K Asus ProArt Z790-Creator WIFI Corsair Vengeance 2x32GB 5600MHz DDR5 RAM Thermaltake GF3 1000W PSU With the minimal build, when I power up the machine, the Q-LED light goes from red(CPU) for 1-2 seconds, change to yellow(DRAM) for minutes or even longer, no beep sound, fans are...

Question Is the ThermalRight FC140 good enough for i7-13700k?

Not going to do the liquid cooling or AIO now. For just air cooling, would the thermalright FC140 enough for moderate computer using? Browsing, watch videos, study coding and some casual gaming? Or I'd better to prepare for AIO really soon? Thanks.

Question Is the out of box cooling fan come with i7-13700 CPU enough for general daily usage with casual gaming?

Thanks, to be safe, any recommended air cooler doesn't break the bank? I had a look the Cooler Master 212, but some people says it is not enough for the 13700k, not sure how good to the 13700. Or should I go for the Deepcool/Noctua? Or the middle tier Thermaltake Toughair 510 is enough?
