adding a dedicated GPU should help. But it wont alleviate the workload on the CPU, just the on die GPU resources wont be utilized.

Run Windirstat, at least itll give yo a good idea of where space is being used. Might reveal somethign you havent checked yet https://windirstat.net/ make sure you run it as an admin.

The Ryzen is your better option. The i7-7700k will perform better in most games due to better IPC and optimizations. For gaming + Streaimg the higher core count ryzens are better, as they have extra threads to help with encoding the live stream. talking about the 1800 or 1700 skus

If you are buying new, go with the i3-7100 and ditch the 730. The iGPU on the i3 is better. If you already own the pentium and gt 730, id stick with it depending on your use case.

Are you actually looking for assistance or just complaining? When you did the system restore windows reverts registry and configuration information back but not files/folders. So the configuration saying your game is there would be gone but not the files. You should be able to delete them...

the ryzen, will do well enough in game(i5 would do better) if your editing software can take advantage of more than the 4 threads the i5 provides, get the ryzen(12 threads)

For mechanical drives 80-120 MB/s is good. Copies may slow down significantly when copying alot of small files, due to directory inflammation needing to be written for each file.

CPUs rarely fail unless improperly overclocked. If your board will work with the xeon then itll be a good upgrade.

Yeah, install your ssd. Then configure your bios to boot from it before the HDD. Boot to windows install disk. The SSD will show up us unallocated space. Install there. Once the install is complete it should boot to the clean install on your ssd and the hdd will show up as an extra local disk

You cant just copy the windows folder. Best route would be to do a fresh install to the ssd, or you can use a clone utility like Acronis or Clonezilla to clone to partitions from your HDD to SSD.
