Hi am from india. My new build pc ... i3 6100, gigabyte mobo, 4gb ram kingston, old cabinet & old smps 450w ....smps make noise damn at the start of pc & remains at least 5mins long & then runs smoothly whole day....should i replace this smps with the new one? Please help..

My old hdd which has win7 installed is not detecting on new mobo&processor...so can i be able to put bootable win7 installation dvd in dvd writer & reboot with this old hdd & format only c:drive where old 7 is installed..but i dont want to format other d,e,f,h drives where my impn data is...

@Boogieman_WD uff my mistake. friend connected my HDD internally only which was shown blank (undetectable) . we dont have external connector to check/backup the data...but one problem i had bout my hdd is that it doesnt vibrate & spin when connected internally. so frnd tried one of his hard...

@Boogieman_WD i dint check disk management...i'll connect again to my friend's computer to follow your steps ...will reply soon

Already Installed win7 on my old wd hard disk 320gb is now stopped detecting on my new mobo with new processor ( tried on many computers but no detection)...inside disc is neither rotating nor hdd vibrating so i tried different circuit of wd hdd 500gb on my hdd then inside disc was spinning &...

@drtweak you're right...seller could have sold me not as an OEM... So the sticker of zenith on my wd hdd must be fake.

@drtweak .. I typed my wd hdd serial number on theri website & its already been expired (5yrs) ..so do i have to assume whether it was sold directly to de customer like computer seller instead of dell or zenith???

Can any one help me? i want information about WD hard disk....if wd hard disk is directly sold to customer then it comes under 5 yrs warranty but if it is sold to companies like zenith then does it come under 1 yr warranty?? i have 6yr old zenith pc without assembly & my hdd is wd by zenith...
