ok it appears to be happening regardless of whether or not I have crossfire enabled. with crossfire disabled the rattle is just slightly less loud, and can only be heard if I put my ear down behind the case.

Noticed the primary card is getting pretty hot, when the second is coasting at pretty casual temps.

Also playing Shadow Warrior on ultra settings, getting the odd drop to 30 in some scenarios. Might just be V-sync rounding off the framerate.
