"Outages" yeah right, dram prices were falling so much they needed a way to keep the msrp up. Samsung does the exact same thing to keep prices up.

I want some of what you're smoking man. I've looked daily for any kind of "deal" due to needed another 3080 card for a clients build and never have I seen any single card by any vendor go for under $1200. Even the zotacs and Pnys are 160-190% of their base price.

Unfortunately Ebay buyers have more money than sense. These scalpers know there are so many people who either 1. don't have the time to sit on their computer for hours at a time to get a new piece of tech or 2. Just don't want to wait until they can buy their own. It all adds up to scalpers...

Entire problem with that is EVGA is still on day one of their "queue system" after nearly 3 months. People need these parts now, its unfortunate that not enough were produced.

Its the API, they would have to have cloud river change the way they list the cards to ALL vendors and they don't care enough to do that for just 4 to 6 vendors.

Who cares, there won't actually be any of these cards available at launch anyway. They only did the 30 series launch when they did so they could make sure they beat AMD projected dates. Typical Nvidia BS
