    4790K/R9 390 Stable/Sweetspot OC

What would be a good voltage then? Because I tried as low as 1.275v and it didnt boot into windows. Mind you, I am on Windows 10 (Which seems to be finnicky with Overclocking from what ive heard). What about the GPU? Update 1- I had a BSOD while playing LoL. Dont know if its the cpu or gpu...

    4790K/R9 390 Stable/Sweetspot OC

I have a i7 4790K that is on a Gigabyte Z97 GAMING 3 motherboard with a Corsair H-100i cooling the cpu. I also have a Gigabyte R9 390 G1 GAMING GPU with 8GB of VRAM. What would i need to do in order to find the perfect voltage/multiplier for the CPU and GPU voltage % and clock speeds? I already...

Overclocking my 4690K And/or my GPU

Yes, I have a Z97 motherboard, but I am using a Gigabyte Z97 GAMING 3. Would it be different from the motherboard mentioned in the video?

Overclocking my 4690K And/or my GPU

Update - I had a few BSODs/Post BIOS crashing after attempting to slightly OC my CPU.... Is there a detailed OC guide for the mobo I am using? Because I honestly want to squeeze the performance out of this chip yet I dont wanna overdo it. Update 2- I upped the cpu to a 4790K and the cooling to...

Overclocking my 4690K And/or my GPU

Okay, what should I use to check the stability? Because Ive tried using Prime95 a few times and each time it locked up my computer, even at stock.

Overclocking my 4690K And/or my GPU

Hello community! I have been seeking some answers on how to safely and efficently run a overclocked 4690K, as well as my Gigabyte Radeon R9 390 8GB. The mobo I use is a Gigabyte Gaming 3 Z97, with 24 gigs of RAM @ 1600mhz. The cooler that I am using is a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO. My question...

EVGA Hadron Air/ASUS A88XM-PLUS/CSM Compatibility question

I have ordered a EVGA Hadron Air for the sake of having to not buy a new PSU with a case. My question is if the forementioned mobo will fit in it or not. I have seen others able to fit microATX AM3+ mobos in it with no problem. PS: Would a Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO fit in it as well?

Intel Core i5 750 or AMD Athlon X4 760K for server hosting

@Aefulan, I bought my i5 750 for 45 dollars off ebay. But the mobo was a completely different story..... nearly a 100 dollars.

Intel Core i5 750 or AMD Athlon X4 760K for server hosting

Hmmm I think ill stick to Windows, purely in case if my mainline rig goes to utter chaos.

Intel Core i5 750 or AMD Athlon X4 760K for server hosting

Yay :D! At least I have some assurance that my builds gonna be decent. My thing is with Ubuntu is that i dont know coding/programming that well, thats why I went with the Windows route and got 7 on there. If I can have a comparison of resources/performance of the two OS', I would be able to make...

Intel Core i5 750 or AMD Athlon X4 760K for server hosting

Would my XFX PSU that ive had for about 3 years be able to OC the i5 750 with no issues? (its the 550w CORE edition PSU). It should from what ive asked around, but id rather be safe and ask on Tom's Hardware to double assure myself.

Intel Core i5 750 or AMD Athlon X4 760K for server hosting

Thats a good, equal playing field for the both of them. My second question is, what type of motherboard would i need to OC the i5 750?

Intel Core i5 750 or AMD Athlon X4 760K for server hosting

I am in the testing process of my current build line up (760K and a AMD Radeon HD 7850), currently running Windows 7 (yes, shame me :c!). I had ordered an additional 8 gigs of ram, an Intel i5 750 and the ASUS P7P55 LX motherboard. I had also picked up a new case and a new heatsink (Coolermaster...
