OK, so I just ran WizTree to see what was using up most of my hard disk (I've got 320gb of 1tb remaining after only 4 months of owning this computer) and it comes up with my System Volume Information taking up 430GB!!! I don't know if it's the drivers for my Nvidia graphics card and stuff but...
