News Nvidia and MediaTek collaborate on 3nm AI PC CPU — chip reportedly ready for tape-out this month

News Panther Cove will reportedly arrive with big IPC improvements, support for Intel APX

It's not great that Intel is pinning all its hopes on 18A. I guess we'll see how that works out. On a side note, I always felt it was better to buy during Intel's "tick" cycle. The toks seemed like a wasted year to me.

News AMD unveils its first small language model, AMD-135M — AI performance enhanced by speculative decoding

News Microsoft promises major performance improvements for modern Windows 11 apps

While they're at it, could they fix the long-standing load bug with shortcut keybinds? If I want to launch my email app with a keybind, it will take 3 seconds to respond versus instantly if I use superkey+number to launch items from the taskbar. edit: used wrong terminology, superkey

News Twenty percent of hard drives used for long-term music storage in the 90s have failed

This is a good reminder for me to get another disk. My most recently one is 8 years old, lol. My oldest is 17 and it still works.
