noise from side panel fan help

If the noise is audible only when your PC is under load, it could be that one of the fans is loosely attached, and when it speeds up it causes the whole cabinet to vibrate with it. Whether you should have the side panel fan on intake or exhaust depends on the air flow inside your cabinet. Fans...

    correct me if im wrong

Are you sure you want to overclock? If your games are running fine now, there's no reason to overclock other than just for the sake of it.

    correct me if im wrong

There's no reason to be afraid of irreparably damaging your PC by overclocking, just start off slowly and make small changes, and make sure your system is stable after each change. Don't play with the voltage unless you're sure of what you're doing. Remember that the components themselves have...

noise from side panel fan help

Yes, and if that doesn't help, see if there's a gap between the side panel and the other walls of the case. If there are, try plugging the gap with some paper. It could be the side panel vibrating against the other walls when the fan spins up. Also, the next time the noise comes up, tilt the...

noise from side panel fan help

The panel's probably loose, or the fan might be loose. Could also be dust in the fan.

Any point in overclocking GT 610?

There's probably no chance of me upgrading my card, but since I'm going to college next year anyway, I think I'll take your advice and push it as far as it'll go. It seems very stable under OC, only problem is the temperature. Does high temperature affect performance (other than the obvious...

Any point in overclocking GT 610?

Is there any point in overclocking my GT 610? Can I expect any reasonable gains from it? My current stable OC is 900 MHz core, 1800 MHz shader, 580 MHz memory (DDR3). Stock speeds are 810 MHz core, 1620 MHz shader, 533 MHz memory. Maximum temperature is 90C. I know that's going to kill my card...

Cooler that fits both LGA 775 and 1150?

I have an LGA 775 E5500 right now, and its hitting 75-76C at stock speeds, so I know I'll have to get a new cooler. I'm looking for one that will fit both 775 and 1150 sockets, because I might upgrade to a 1150 in the future. My budget is under $40.

how much can i run gta 5

You can't run it at all, because as of now there is no PC version of GTA V, only console versions.

Why is my graphics card fans not increasing when I play graphic-intensive games?

127F is only 52C, so your cards not overheating. The fan stays at 40% probably because the card doesn't think its too hot. So the crashing's likely to be a software issue. However, if you want to make sure, set the fan speed manually and then try playing.

is metro 2033 really so hard??

My gas masks never seemed to last for more than 5 minutes... but I always managed to find more inside buildings and such.

is metro 2033 really so hard??

I played the game a few months ago, and the hardest part for me was finding Gas Masks and the Librarians. For the Nosalises (the dog-like mutants), try using either the shotgun or your knife, just keep running around while slashing. For the ones with wings, take a few shots, then duck inside a...

    GTA IV problem

Go to Task Manager's Processes tab, and see if you can find it there. It might just be slow to load up.
