I'm trying to find out how my PC would handle the game at 1440p. so i set the resolution scaling to 134%. at a base 100% 1080p... 134% is 1447.2.. I'm getting over 60 fps, does that mean I'd get similar numbers at 1440p?

Currently using Da Vinci Resolve. But may be moving to sony vegas when money allows.

or do you think the xeon would hold its own against the 6600k without overclocking

so i guess getting a 6700k, (maybe 6600k?) putting it in this mother board, then waiting for a deal sometime down the road to replace the motherboard with an overclockable one?

I also for got to add that my disk drive also ramps up to 100% sometimes while idle, and CPU frequency not just utilization.

i have an old laptop that i bought roughly 4 years ago that i recently wiped and installed Win 10 on, but even at idle i get random and often occurrences of my CPU shooting up in "utilization %" sometimes to 100% and sometimes just sits around at 60% or so, it runs the fans super high and sits...
