ASUS X99A-II

I can't seem to find anything online about this. I know my motherboard maxes out at 128Gb total but can I use two 64GB sticks or will there be problems? Thanks for any help.

Also I've run into problems with VRAM running out on my 12GB 1080ti. I'm worried about the 10Gb on the 3080. Could I combine a 3090 with it's 24GB with some 3080's ?

Oh my bad. I thought you needed SLI do utilize multiple cards for rendering but you don't. What do you guys think of this setup with 4x 3080's then? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/YtQRjp I think I need at least an 1800 W power supply but they don't have one with price on that site. Thanks

Wait apparently 3080's don't support SLI at all?

Rendering 3D animations and doing process intensive sims in Houdini and C4D. I actually think I want 4x 3080's as it has 14,000 more Cuda cores for less money, but what motherboard CPU setup should I get for that?

My CPU never gets fully utilized despite me running processes that should be using a 100% of the CPU. Everything I do takes forever because of this please help. Also it's a brand new computer no viruses. I already did a thread on this website about this but no one could figure it out and it...

Thanks but I did that myself. I just went into the BIOS a while back when I noticed the problem and checked off all the settings that might of caused it.

Not a virus. I just bought the computer and haven't downloaded anything but the programs for my 3D work. Also it's not really acting funny or anything besides the CPU thing. Ill try the driversa nd defender.

Now that I think about it, I remember for a while the USB ports on my motherboard kept acting weird. I have a keyboard and mouse go through a wireless usb thingy, and several times they stopped working until I moved the USB thing to another port. Same thing happened to the USB thing I get wifi with.
