So I installed my second SSD...

I'd probably start by checking the cable connections. This sounds like it could be a loose cable (or a cable not seated completely.) Check both the sata cable and the power connection as either might cause this problem. If you have another computer to test with, you could try installing it in...

External Hard Drive too full to open

Try this... Start --> Run --> cmd <enter> then when the console window opens, type (without quotes) "chkdsk /f <drive letter>" where <drive letter> is the drive letter of your external drive. For example... chkdsk /f g: (this will check disk g: for errors and fix them) Let me know what...

Is it Safe to Leave My New Gaming PC On 24/7?

I've been running a multi-use server (that handles domain membership, e-mail, website, dhcp, dns, and a few other services) that's on 24/7 using regular off the shelf hardware... it's a Pentium 4 1.6ghz with 384mb sdram on a asus P4B motherboard that's being going strong for 12 years now...

My mobo has the following controllers on it... (mind you, I'm using the Intel sata 6.0 gb/s port... not the Marvell controller) This snippet is directly from the Asus P8P67 mobo manual...

Desktop DVD Drive making weird noises

Optical drive noises can only be one several things. A normal sound is that temporary whining noise as the disk spins up or down. If you're hearing anything beyond that... such as banging and clattering... that could either indicate a disk that's imbalanced in the drive or the drive doesn't have...

SSD WEI scored lower on re-install of Windows 7

I have a 250GB OCZ Agility 4 SSD which used to get a WEI score of 7.6. Now, upon doing a clean-install of Windows 7, it's dropped to 7.3. I'm using AHCI mode. I didn't change anything in the hardware -- the SSD is on the SATA3 ctrl'r. Software-wise... I'm using the latest Intel chipset and Rapid...
