Great, one last (probably stupid) question, should I get rid of the drivers for the integrated GPU? Will they interfere at all with the dedicated graphics card if the integrated card is disabled?

How much reserved memory are we talking? The default is set to 64mb, which with 8 gigs of RAM won't make much difference, however, the default DVMT is set to max, which is up to 1 gig. With a dedicated graphics card installed, will the onboard graphics ever take up 1 gig of reserved memory?

Sorry for the dumb question, but will having integrated graphics enabled slow down my CPU. I don't know if this makes sense or not... Are the integrated graphics functions of my CPU tied to it's processing ability? I am probably being paranoid, and I'm sorry for that! Thank you again!

Thanks Hitech, out of curiosity, does having it show up in the device manager slow down my CPU at all? Put another way, does it still act as a graphics card, just with nothing plugged in? I don't want the CPU to still be performing an integrated graphics function, when the CPU could be doing...
