monitor not recognitizing new Radeon 7750 hd card

It sounds like you are using a VGA monitor and a VGA-to-DVI adapter that came with the card. Some cards have both a DVI-I and a DVI-D connector. If you were plugged into the DVI-D connector, your monitor would not recognize it.

Can I add PCI-E 6 pin Power Connector to my PSU ?

One other thing that is odd is that the 7750 does not use an additional power connector.

graphics card for 250watt power supply

You might be able to use an HD 7750 with a 250 watt psu but you'd be far safer upgrading the PSU. If you want to stay close to your $150 upgrade number, you could go for a Corsair 430 watt PSU and an HD 7770. I'd also recommend getting your ram up to at least 4 GB, if not 8. Cheapest way for...

Microsoft: Support Ends For Windows XP in One Year

I would like to see a graph of Botnet growth after support for XP ends. I expect it will be unprecedented. On a semi-related note, I wonder if a lawyer could bring a class action lawsuit on behalf of DDOS-attacked companies against Microsoft for negligence as it seems completely foreseeable that...

asus radeon hd 7750 driver installation problem

The adapter info you posted makes it look like the AMD Catalyst drivers aren't installed. I'd try explicitly uninstalling the AMD drivers (How-To Uninstall Pre-Existing AMD Catalyst™ Drivers From A Windows® Based System) and then re-installing the new drivers. Also, there is some possibility...

    Radeon 7850 + 450w PSU?

In the recent system builder marathon Tom's used an i5 + 7850 rig with an Antec 400 watt PSU: Your Athlon chip will draw more power than the i5 (if it is 95 tdi, then about 25 watts more), but you should still be fine with the Antec 450. Congrats on unlocking the 4th core btw; nothing like...

How to connect dvi-d/hdmi/display port gpu to VGA monitor

I just had to do the same thing with a second VGA monitor and a Sapphire 7770. Cheapest solution I could find (that would fit on the card with two adapters plugged in) was a passive DisplayPort to VGA adapter for US $8.24 new on EBay (PC Display Port Male DP To DVI Displayport Adapter). Works...

Should a Radeon 7850 2GB work in Dell XPS 8300? My PC won't POST.

One thing from your description seemed odd to me: I didn't think that the integrated graphics port would work once the 6450 PCI-e card was installed. So at the risk of being overly descriptive, what you have tried is removing the 6450 and replacing it with the 7850 in the same slot? You...

    Underwhelming 7850 performance

In the recent system builder marathon, they uses a good 400 Watt PSU with an i5 + 7850 combo with overclocking: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/pc-gaming-overclock-build-a-pc,3443-16.html
