Question BIOS detecting the HDD but not booting from it

but again it’s not detecting my old HDD once I have logged in, no partitions or anything of older drive, just one partition merged with other partitions of my newer drive with everything I installed in it, and that is when I try to boot up with my newer drive, I’ll try booting up solely on the...

Question BIOS detecting the HDD but not booting from it

The thing with the older HDD is when I booted my PC (with the older HDD connected as an additional drive) using the newer HDD, which I assume, was primary boot priority it booted the way my older HDD would which was weird, as I’ve mentioned it asked me for a windows login pin I kept when I...

Question BIOS detecting the HDD but not booting from it

The enclosure idea sounds good, I’m actually searching for one at the moment to try this. I do have a backup for everything in another HDD that’s plugged in my other PC that I don’t use much, I just want to avoid going through the struggle copying everything and shifting it onto the PC I use...

Question BIOS detecting the HDD but not booting from it

Should I have checked the boot priority in BIOS while booting up to avoid that? The data in the old HDD is what is important, not the newer one, I would really like for the data to be recovered before I delete everything on it. Alright I’ll try fixing it with Windows installation media and...

Question BIOS detecting the HDD but not booting from it

BACK STORY: So I tried to plug in an old HDD as an additional hard drive, with the one I’m using right now, that’s been sitting around for a few months to see if it still worked but I saw that when I booted my PC it asked me for a pin that I kept when I worked on it and of course I didn’t...

    Question PC significantly slow

First off, my apologies for the prolonged reply. I've been pretty busy today and hence I could not try the booting from an external drive method but I will make sure to do that in the morning today. And secondly, I downloaded the application and I see the first comment on the post has started...

    Question PC significantly slow

It's running at 3.35-3.4 GHz on average with a usage of about 5 to 7%, I'm pretty sure it's not overheating since there's a pretty good airflow and it doesn't indicate it either

    Question PC significantly slow

Is there any way I can confirm this? Like checking the HDD health or some other way? It's always between 1-6% usage, is that normal?

    Question PC significantly slow

I turned on my PC about 3 days ago after about a week of not turning it on and upon turning it on I found out that my pc is taking a significantly longer time than normal to boot up to begin with (taking anywhere between 10-15 mins to up to an hour sometimes). All I see is the motherboard logo...

    Can't activate my Windows 10

I recently ungraded my PC's hardware (GPU, motherboard etc) and Windows 10 is telling me to activate my Windows. My windows had been activated before upgrading my hardware and was running smoothly. I do, however, try to activate it in the settings but can't, it prompts me with an error "Windows...
