Turns out my attempts to use a UPS did not work either.

After using a battery backup in attempt to "clean" the power, and using a line into the other room on a different breaker, it seems to be more stable. Going to post back, still looking for recommendations however.

Switched from 1080 FE to EVGA 2080. So far no problems, will report back in ~48 hours time to follow up. Trying to stress it the best I can with games, etc.
