Sorry I just know it's an old Dell desktop, standard configuration. Label on the side says "Model no. - DHM"
It was working fine until recently.
Nothing on screen when it boots.
I have an old Dell desktop which is not booting up. The service tag is 9S83Y0J which is not recognized on the website. There is a continuous orange light on the power button and on the motherboard. Can this be repaired?
Ok, that would give me a chance to try it out. If it works out, I will buy the key.
Maybe it's time to move on - but I am loath to let go of Windows 7.
I used the USB download tool: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=56485
and the ISO file from here: https://softlay.net/operating-system/windows-7-professional-full-version-free-download-iso-32-64-bit.html
I have just built a system using the Asus Prime B250M. I'm trying to install Windows 7 from a USB drive but it's giving me an error message:
"A required CD/DVD driver could not be found".
I tried unplugging and re-plugging the USB drive.
