thegreatdelcamo has it right. The 5.0 NVMe goes under that massive heatsink on the top and then the 4.0 NVMe's go in at the bottom under the shared heatsink.

Try using a different HDMI/Display port cable or a different monitor if you have one available.

So I am starting a new build with an RTX 5080 GPU. I bought the X870E mobo + Ryzen 9800X3D combo from Newegg and I am trying to make sure I have the NVMe situation correct. I am wanting to run the 5080 GPU with all 16 lanes and at least one NVMe 5.0, if not two. Do I have the gist of it or...
