I'm currently putting my hard drive from a Dell Inspiron 3520 into a Prostar custom built laptop. They're both the same size. I'm fairly new to building computers and was wondering if their is any potential complications in switching the hard drive into another laptop.

Are you running out of memory? If the game needs memory and cannot get it it will crash

Probably. You could try running them in compatibility mode or killing explorer.exe when you start it. I had this problem with the original Fallouts. Also, try googling it if you haven't. I'm sure someone has come up with a fix

Yes but you are limited in room for a laptop. Take measurements around the PCI port and look for cards within those measurements. (Unless of course you don't mind it hanging out of the laptop)
