    Not well optimized but Ark:Survival Evolved can tax most systems to their knees if you want to get decent frame rates at 1440p and up with all options maxed out. I've finally got it running well at 2560x1600@60Hz with a 1080 Ti mated to a 4.6GHz 2600K!

    Picking up where Civ 5 left off, I'd nominate Civ 6 for this list, even though it's not even a year old, it has all the makings of an endlessly replayable game (and I do have several thousand hours on Civ 5, as well!)
