Thanks! The update was successful but the speakers issue was not resolved. Both the speakers are sounding crackling and tinny with buzzing. Any suggestions for remedial action? I can't think of a reason why it is happening. The MacBook was kept safely in a cupboard for the last 4 years without use.

My last Macbook Pro 15 inch 2010 model had to be put to sleep as the speakers volume became very low and did not improve despite doind everything short of replacement. Also it kept restarting randomly due to a hardware bug. Another Macbook Pro 15 inch (2015) also developed speaker issues...

Tried both. Driver is up to date. Settings for maximum sensitivity. The cursor moves a little later than the finger and drifts. Difficult to click at small targets

Just sharing experience. LG gram touchpad is the least sensitive and accurate I ever used. Enen the laptops, less than half the price have more sensitive and accurate touchpads.

I have a Bother MFC-J220. The yellow and ink cartridge are shown as depleted. Can I use the MFC as scanner only? The MacBook pro is not detecting it. I have connected using USB only and not on network. Any help or information will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
