I have almost these same settings and am getting the same solid red CPU light when I power on the computer. Why would the thermal paste inhibit it from turning on? My particular PSU did not have 8 pin EPU slots, and I had to use a converter to hook up two 8-bin ends from the PSU to the EPU...
