I can uninstall them I'm pretty sure, but the problem is the installer says "Nvidia installer failed" every time I run it. People tried uninstalling the old drivers to try and fix it but now they were left with no drivers for their GPU which totally messed up their computer because they couldnt...

Ok well how did you update your drivers? Because like I said the installer comes up with an error every time and whatever I've done won't fix it. I'm using an nvidia 306.97 which came out in like 2012 I believe because I can't update. Is there a fix?

Are you sure that's the problem? I've looked at other people with similar problems and it usually either pointed to the motherboard or the hard drive

Also, if this helps, I've gotten blue screens with no error given, and also sometimes the computer will just turn off, or the screen will go into standby mode and the computer is still running, but nothing is responsive and I have to turn it off to get control of it again. And then I'll power on...
