    The CryptoMining PC Hardware Thread

Cazalan, the number of people mining is a spec of dust in space VS the masses earning money through official means/paid jobs etc. I think your overestimating how many people do this, and more importantly how many people do this and actually make a profit ;- )

    The CryptoMining PC Hardware Thread

Here is a great entry level setup based around the fact CPU, memory, etc isn't all that important, its all about quality PSU, the more efficient the less the electricity costs and big ATI graphics cards... • CPU: Intel Pentium G3220 3.00GHz Dual Core (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor •...

Crypto Currency Mining & Graphics Cards

We get around 22500 k/hash with our x30 290 tower, nvidia cards just aren't worth bothering with IMHO. The Nvidia 750Ti is good for the money VS like for like spend on ATI 280x and 290, but as you ultimately need more PCI-express slots and more nvidia cards for the same hash, the cost of...

t4gx now you have a 4570, can you disable the core lock fix and post up a screenshot of your afterburner after gaming. I want to see how much the default throttle has improved just by going to the intel CPU.

Money for Performance. Is it worth? R9 280X vs R9 290

99% of 290 users will leave it as AMD intended though and let powertune go over the top trying to curtail heat and noise ;) As it stands you have to do a messy afterburner fix to get them running like the review samples :(

Money for Performance. Is it worth? R9 280X vs R9 290

Not true, the 290's are throttling the core by up to 35% to save heat and power on the current 13.12 drivers, what that means is a 280x is a better option. http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18573623
