k couple questions, for this motherboard set would I need to get paired ram, also am I really going to see a big performance difference between PC4000 ram, and lets say PC3500 ram?

my budget is around $1000 for everything, including new monitor (19 in i think). I plan on getting a 9800 pro, prolly 140 gig harddrive. And then from what you guys said, a p4 3 800fbs with some motherboard. Its going to be my x-mas present from myself :P.

Yea my computer is shutting off/crashing randomly. The fan on my video card is making wierd noises and its dying so I assume this is the reason my computer is shutting down b/c the vid card is overheating? I already ordered a new one but I wanted to know if there is anything else I should check.
