I tried the CPU-Z stress test on my R7 1700 and it goes to 100%. Have you tried resetting the BIOS to default settings/clearing the CMOS?

If ur a casual gamer why not get a Ryzen, they get almost 2x performance on everything but games

Also if ur going for a B350 mobo, look for the RAMs, people are being successfull with the GAMING 3 from gigabyte

Im gaming with an i5-760 3.6 GHz, everything on Ultra. Upgraing to i7-7700K/R7 1700

My doubt between 7700K and R7 1700 is that I don't want to play like if I had an i5 and change it in 2 years, I want a CPU for years (gaming)
