    Getting back a Laptop OS

So my friend was given his brother's old gaming laptop but his brother wiped the hard drive before giving it to him. I am wondering if there is a way to get the old OS back onto it even though the hard drive was wiped clean.

Is my computer capable of running at 4K?

Honestly it depends on what you plan of doing with your computer. If you just plan on using an internet browser and using Facebook then sure it is completely fine. If you plan on gaming on it in 4k well that's a different story. Playing a graphics intensive game like Bf4 or DayZ will most...

    WD 4tb compatibility with Ps4

Well I'm pretty sure that the 4TB hard drive that you have in mind will be a 3.5 Inch drive which makes things a little bit more complicated. The PS4 has a built in slot to insert any 2.5 Inch hard but 2.5 Inch hard drives are more expensive and don't have as high of available capacities. A 3.5...

Will my Cpu and my Graphics card bottle neck

Your processor should be a bottleneck for your graphics card. A bottleneck means that a piece of hardware in your computer is holding back the performance of other parts of your computer. In this case your GPU would be bottlenecked by your processor since an FX 4100 isn't that great for gaming...

can pentium G3258 handle this games?

I'm sorry to inform you but Farcry 4 actually won't launch if you have a dual core processor. You'll need at least a quad core or at the very least an i3. However, you could play Battlefield 3 and Sleeping Dogs, especially if you plan on overclocking the processor. It would really be better to...

    Looking for new GPU

Any sort of budget restraint? I'd recommend a gtx 750ti or an r9 260x. Especially the gtx 750ti if your power supply isn't all that great.

    Fanless CPU cooler

Knowing how hot an FX-9590 runs and how much power it draws, I HIGHLY advise against trying to use a fanless cooler on the your processor. If anything, I'd suggest a water cooler but that isn't a really a quiet solution. Why are you going with 9590? What's your current processor? An Fx8350...

Thoughts on my first build much appreciated.

Well it's okay if overclocking doesn't really sound like your thing. After doing some research here's a build I'd recommend: http://choosemypc.net/build/?budget=850&oc=false&options=,removessd,os It comes with a gtx 770 which is faster than a R9 280 and it has an i5 as the processor which is...

    Lenovo T430 in 2015?

It is pretty heavy, it's never been to the point where it's back-breaking but you will notice some heft if you were to try and carry it with one hand. I'm perfectly fine moving it around and using it on my lap though. The bulk really makes the laptop sturdy.

    Lenovo T430 in 2015?

Well seeing as how I'm writing this message on a Lenovo T430, I think it's a nice laptop. My school actually issues them out to students. It's pretty bulky given the hardware that's inside but the tradeoff is that it is quite sturdy. I've seen some of my fellow students knock them off a table...

Need help getting a low budget pc

You don't need a CPU cooler since the i5 4590 comes with its own heatsink and fan (and you can't overclock on it) and the build should be just fine with a 500w PSU instead of a 600w.

Thoughts on my first build much appreciated.

I would say jump for GTX 960 and an FX 8350 which would put you at just slightly below your budget ceiling of $850. However, this build would work as is if you wanted it to. Do you plan on overclocking the fx 6300? If so then the idea of getting the 8350 becomes even less needed.
