Question Looking for a Thunderbolt 4 Hub (ie Just Several USB out, No Video, Network, Memory Cards, etc,)

Sorry about that - indended to ask just about the TB hub for various devices, but the thread meandered that way as storage stuff was just the driving force for needing more bandwidth than normal USB could provide.

Question Looking for a Thunderbolt 4 Hub (ie Just Several USB out, No Video, Network, Memory Cards, etc,)

Right now I’m just connecting the drives directly to the back of the computer, but looking for a way that puts the ports front and centre so it’s a little more elegant. Having a hub on top of the desk would be ideal, but just using a USB 3.2 Gen 2 unit would make a bottleneck when multiple...

Question Looking for a Thunderbolt 4 Hub (ie Just Several USB out, No Video, Network, Memory Cards, etc,)

The problem with that solution is the aggregate bandwidth isn’t sufficient - I have a set of external SSDs for transferring video files from my laptop when editing in the field that get close to saturating a Gen 2 connection on their own. When downloading from two of them (which I do somewhat...

Question Looking for a Thunderbolt 4 Hub (ie Just Several USB out, No Video, Network, Memory Cards, etc,)

I recently set up a new desktop and it has two TB4 ports on the motherboard. The tower is mounted under my desk, so it’d be really useful to have more ports up front and using a link that could support 4-8 USB 3.x devices without bottlenecking would be ideal. The catch, however, is the only...
