I put an Asus GTX 750ti OC in my XPS 8500 and another in my son's XPS 8700 - 6 pin to the 460W PSU, 6 months ago. It works flawlessly in both machines.

Have you adjusted the mic gain within the Sound driver? You can search microphone test and it will set it automatically, usually between 40-60 and then I have my Yeti gain at around 11:00

Do you have your speaker system on? You may be causing feedback as the Yeti hears sounds coming from your computer speakers. Turn off speakers and see if that helps issue.

Last question... at 50+Mbps where I know streaming video has no issue... does this 10% variance between the benchmark in my house (wired 59Mbps) and 2.4G (wifi 53Mbps) present any discernable lag for online video game play? I guess I'm trying to discern what benefits from a 10% improvement...
