    Ryan, basically. The blue is the sensing plug. If you have something plugged into it and it flows enough electricity (depending on how you set it) it will turn on the other ports. The red ports are ALWAYS hot. This larger picture might help. But yes, you got it.

    Sorry for the late response. Literally the day you posted the above response, I went to lowes before, and bought a bunch of 4 inch PVC pipe and made a huge 4 ft long res. It held almost 3 gallons. Lol. It didn't ever get hot, but it also never got cold, even over night. Just too much water...
