I've had a Samsung 850 Evo 250GB for about a year now, knowing that it wasn't working at full speed with the SATA 2.0 cable. I just upgraded to SATA 3.0 not a couple hours ago, but the speeds are still the same as my old HDD. I'm sure they're SATA 3.0 cables, I don't know what else it could be...
