I would make sure the BIOS is up to date and RAM timings are set according to what is on the sticks. If you are not sure how to do that, take the machine to a shop and get them to do it. Also, LOL.

Make sure that ALL the cores are enabled in the BIOS. Other than that, I would send the CPU back for warranty. Don't worry about the overclocking bit, it will be fine :P
