I had same problem yesterday. Looked through Microsoft forums for possible solutions but couldn't get them to work. Removed and re-installed drivers and restarted PC a few times. Keyboard kept coming on but wasn't functioning. I then disconnected USB cables (4 of them) and swapped them around...
