i think I found that it is actually a memory issue. one of the sticks I use is considerably hotter than the other even at idle state (dual channel) is this a sign of bad ram?

well I have Intel Azalia, AC'97, and an HD audio cable plugins for front panel audio in my case, but there doesn't seem to be a place to plug it in. I'm assuming it's not possible, but maybe someone would have a solution.
