Intel SSD 660p 1TB Review: QLC Goes Mainstream

though I do like added power test during use not just idle, whats with the review tests seems all changed. we longer see seq read/write nor random read/write performance at QD1-4. further more with TLC especially more so on QLC, I want to see the speed while saturated by write to see the real...

    Crucial MX500 SSD Review

2TB for $520? not bad at all for a TLC drive, especially one at this performance level considered to be better than the best in industry. nice review Chris! can't wait for a 4TB of this drive out for less than $800 though.

running optane 900p on 5v sata power? help!

as mentioned on title.. plan to fit a U.2 900p 280GB/480GB into a laptop (super thick laptop) but iirc laptop only got 5v rail sata power for those 2.5" SSDs/HDDs. i know 3.5" HDD can't run off usb 2/3 because not only its 5v but USB2 only provides up to 0.5A while USB3 is 0.9A. but can 3.5"...

SanDisk's Highest Capacity USB Flash Drive Ever, Ultra USB 3.0 At 256GB

performance is way too slow too, patriot released something much faster at same capacity or greater i believe. if it doesnt max at 400MB/s read and at least 200+ MB/s write no point getting it.

Intel 750 Series 1.2TB NVMe PCIe SSD Review

some people would be ok with just a 2.5" sata SSD. for people that are getting this, considering you are on a sata III ssd and you are trying to explain its just much better to have it over a sata I but they just wont budge because they dont think the difference is worth the cost, and they do...

Intel 750 Series 1.2TB NVMe PCIe SSD Review

from HDD to SSD you see the huge latency drop by about 50x, where as fastest SSD compare to ram is maybe 30-50x dependent on ram/ssd. with NVMe can look forward to at least another 3x loss in latency. basically it'll be so much more snappier than your ssd for sure.
