I set the same setting for the both of the desktop and the laptop. But the file explorer of the desktop doesn't display the hidden files that using Folder Protector by Kakasoft.

I just found something is very wrong. The file sizes on my external SSD are completely different between my desktop PC and the laptop. Here are the screenshots : The first one is from the desktop PC and the second one is from the laptop. As you can see, it's the same drive, but the file size...

Aha...it makes sense. But it's funny, because Sandisk Ultra 3D must be the same as WD Blue 3D as far as I know. I heard the label is only different, but it's not true, I think. Thanks for the explanation!

I have 15 SSDs, but luckily none of them has any issue since 2019. I don't use front port nor USB hub for the portable drives. I also have 5 HDDs, and 2 of them have issues even though I've taken care of them carefully.

I just checked 2 of my portable SSDs. Both of their TBW is 600. One is WD Blue SSD 3D and another one is Sandisk Ultra SSD 3D. The Crystal Disk Info shows me something very wrong. As you can see above, WD has written more than Sandisk, but the lifespan still 99% remains whereas Sandisk...

So, that means it's still a long way to die. But it should be 98%. Isn't it?

I just figured it out. You should use insert media instead of insert image. Weird.

As you can see in the screenshots below, it still shows 99% even though I used over 10TB for a 2TB SSD and 43TB for 4TB SSD. Is it accurate?

Thanks for the response. I tried it, but it gives me the same error message. I have no clue what wrong is.

I uploaded a picture on my Google Drive and tried to upload to the post using insert image, but it doesn't work. It says, "Image cannot be loaded from the passed link." Is there a specific way to upload the image?
