Try and get GTX 1050 at least. It is more suitable for the games you mention. You want some future proofing when buying a graphics card.

Are you sure it's not running in power saver mode? If that doesn't work try restarting the laptop.

Definitely Ryzen. FX Series was introduced back in 2011. You don't want to go for something that old. As others have suggested wait for R3 Ryzen or go with a cheap Pentium G 4560.
