I am doubting between buying a 1080p@75 Freesync ultrawide & a 1440p@60 (both are the same price). I have a Rx480 and I mostly use my PC for watching YT videos, editing videos, playing open world games.

Maybe your GPU is dead but like James Mason said, it's much easier to help when you've listed your specs

What exactly are the differences between USB type C & Thunderbolt 3.0? I know Thunderbolt is made by Intel and USB type C isn't. The ports look the same and the cable itself looks very similar too.
