AMD Unleashes The Radeon VII, World's First 7nm Gaming GPU

Also i forgot to add, this card is aimed at content creators, where once again RT is useless. Why do i say that? Because HBM2 is so dang expensive it makes no sense to use it for the masses.

AMD Unleashes The Radeon VII, World's First 7nm Gaming GPU

who will pay $700 for a card and then want to play in 1080P or 1440P? WTF! Keep denying the truth to yourselves and support the worst consumer friendly company on the planet ( NVidia ). Sorry RT adds nothing to the game that i would see other than lowering my resolution and FPS down to sub $300...

    which brand of 480?

You should look for a MSI RX 480 GAMING X 8GB card. They have the best cooling out of all the aftermarket cards for the RX 480. Good OC'ers also. My card never goes over 64C with a solid 1400/2250 OC on it. It can go higher than that also if i wanted to but i felt this was high enough lol...

What can compete with the AMD Radeon RX 480 and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060?

There are a few RX 470 that easily reach stock RX 480 scores, and with the new revision/run AMD is seeing big gains in performance and power consumption. They say the RX 460 and 470 are seeing the biggest gains in performance but also they are dropping a ton in the TDP ( lower power draw higher...

    Gtx 1060 or Rx 480

RX 480 is even or BEATS the GTX 1060 in all NON-Gameworks titles and when not using Nvidia tech like Hair works. In True DX 12 titles it doesn't "just" beat the GTX 1060 it stomps it by about 20%. Since the day 1 drivers till now there has been a constant and steady increase in performance on...

    GTX 1060 vs RX 480?

Future proof yourself and go RX 480 8GB, either the MSI Gaming X or Sapphire Nitro ( MSI has better cooling by a ton ). 6 to 8 months from now you can laugh at the poor performance of the GTX 1060 in DX 12 and Vulkan titles as these two API's become mainstream. There are a few Benchmarks out...

GTX 1060 vs RX 480 for 3D Modelling

Here is a little tip, AMD gains a lot more when paired with older CPU's when talking about DX 12. The reason is it helps with CPU bottle necks because of the hardware level Async but Nvidia cards would work better for programs like AutoCad. Get what ever is cheapest and if they are the same then...

Rx 480 sapphire nitro vs aftermarket gtx 1060

Future proofing is going with a card that supports Async compute at the Hardware level and that's not a GTX 1060. Case in point PCgamer just did a Doom Vulkan benchmark and the RX 480 was as much as 50% faster. The MSI RX480 GX is quieter and cooler than the Nitro+ and only loses 2 to 3 FPS at...

    Nitro 480 vs 1060 aftermarket

For gamers having to choose between a RX 480 or a GTX 1060 is heaven as they both kick butt. But lets look at something here. We are moving forward in technology with more and more titles supporting DX 12 and Vulkan. When you take that into account then there is only one card for you and that's...

Dilshan941 For your CPU you should find a RX 470 8gb 256 bit card ( all RX 470 cards are 256 bit ). This Cards will OC to beat reference RX 480 cards and can play games at 1440p on medium high to High settings at 60 FPS and you should see 60+ easy at 1080p on Ultra settings in most titles. They...

    GTX 1060 3GB vs RX 480 4GB

The Sapphire is a great card with higher clocks but is also very loud and we are only talking 1 to 2 FPS on average. It also is hotter and uses more power. The MSI RX 470 GX will overclock enough to beat stock RX 480 reference cards but again only by 1 to 2 FPS. The good news here is it is a...

GTX 1060 Mini vs RX 480?

Don't let the Fanboys trick you. The GTX 1060 wins about 60% of the time in DX 11 games and loses like 80% of the time in vulkan/DX12 games. The thing here is on Average the GTX 1060 win in DX 11 games by 2 to 10 FPS max but lose in Vulkan and DX12 titles by a average of 10 to as high as 25 FPS...
