I have a 1 TB ssd which is connected to sata 1 and powered. Hitting the bios set up buttons didn't do anything. Should I just take it to a computer repair shop?

The PSU is EVGA 650 GQ 650 and power is connected to the CPU, GPU and motherboard with the correct cables . The GPU is in the first slot and the HDMI cable is connected to the GPU.
