Ok so here is what im up to in my new build. Asrock imb-190 motherboard, Intel i5-7600 cpu, 16gb ddr4 sodimm 2400, 12v dc power, 1gb Seagate sata, usb mouse, usb keyboard. Monitor connected to hdmi Ok now the problem, plug in the 12v dc power (12v 8a laptop charger) the light turns on and cpu...

Also found out it can run on 12v dc input e.g. laptop charger and the 4 pin atx connector is 19-24v dc, I was lead to believe it was the other way around so the atx 4 pin connector probably won't work as it's 12v from the atx power. Any thoughts please

Hi all, ive just brought a asrock imb-190, with a i5-7600cpu and one stick ddr4 sodimm 16gb the so called manual states that you can run this bocards from 12 volts 4 plug atx or 19-24 from dc input. I did plug the 4 pin from my atx into this board but when trying to turn on nothing happens...
