    Is your your gpu usage 90-100% during the benchmarking .if so then i suggest you to do clean reinstall of the windows.also if the problem persisted with your 970 then i guess the problem lies somewhere.Is your processor overclocked?

    if you look at the benchmarks there is a difference between the settings used (AA).so, suggest you to turn off AA and redo the benchmark.

    amd 6990 has more memory so it will be usefull in high resolutions .also radeon overclocks higher and runs stable.on the other hand many people have burnt their gtx 590 while trying to overclock.so i recommend hd6990.

    hello.i have a c2d e7500 i am able to overclock it upto 4.2 ghz using gigabyte g31m-es2l only with a vcore of 1.32 and i am using thermalright ultima 90i .the problem is that i am unable to post at 4.3ghz even at 1.4vid .and my temps always remain in 50's.what should i do??

    Power supply for GTX 590's

    if you plan to upgrade down the line, i would recommend an HX1050.My recommendation, if you have $750 to spend on a GPU, get either a Seasonic X series 1500W, or a Corsair AX1200. Both will have enough for 2 GTX590's.
