Ever since devs started to rely on upscaling, unoptimised messes have become the norm, so i don't believe we 'll find many gamers surprised by this situation. These days, it's gonna be a piece of news worth reading when a game is actually optimised.

Looks like you were right. I used Display Driver Uninstaller and i did a clean installation of the latest Nvidia drivers. No problems so far with Countestrike, or any other game. Thanks for the help!

I will try it. However, i have updated to the latest Nvidia driver since the first day of its release. If it was corrupt, shouldn't the issue have manifested from day one?

It's Bios version 17.03 I'm using a liquid cooler and my temps during gaming are usually around 65°C for CPU and 58-59°C for GPU.

It’s an embarrassing thing to admit, but it didn’t even cross my mind to film the unboxing of my 5090, when I bought it back in February. With all the stories surfacing lately, I guess I should try and be more careful in the future.

IMHO, Hellblade II is the finest looking game to date. Especially at the beginning, it feels like you’re playing through a high quality cinematic. I can recall hitting 45-55 FPS (rarely 60) with my 4090 and it still felt smooth, due to the nature of this game.

Or, even better, an RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell.

Yeah, Rogue City is a fine game. It captures the look and sounds and overall feel of the first two RoboCop movies exceptionally well. As for MFG x4, it helped me immensely at both Wukong and Oblivion Remastered (4K Ultra), where i would hit 120+ FPS without the use of DLSS. But yeah, it still...

Just tried the demo. At 4K Ultra DLAA, i was getting anywhere between 46 and 62 FPS (53 most of the time). I had to resort to a combination of DLSS Ultra Quality + Frame Generation, in order to reach an average of 75 FPS. Sometimes, environments look great and some other times... not so much...
